Instrument Technician - Immediately Available to Join
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of instrumentation and control systems, including temperature, pressure, flow, and level measurement devices.
- Perform regular calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accurate readings and proper performance.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues with control systems, sensors, and related equipment.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to maintain and repair systems.
- Configure and test programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other automated systems.
- Maintain records of instrument calibration, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
- Ensure that all equipment and work practices comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist with the installation of new instrumentation and automation systems, including system configuration and startup.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar instrumentation role, preferably in an industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and automation technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation, including pressure, flow, temperature, and level sensors.
- Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
