Our client, an established, dynamic business operating within the construction industry, is proud of the levels of expertise and proficiency they have achieved in building contracting services, civil engineering, architectural glazing, and demolition. They currently have an immediate opportunity for a civil site manager for a public realm project in Dublin.Role/Key Responsibilities but not limited to:Work closely with and report to Project Manager and Senior Management on Civils projects.Take responsibility for managing day-to-day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, leading the Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner.Monitor construction regarding quality of workmanship and materials and recording of same on the Bretland document control system.Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practice.Assist with the management of all aspects of Health & Safety and Quality on site, ensuring compliance with the Company's Quality and Safety Management Systems, including management of subcontractors and plant operators' tickets, safe passes, machinery certs.Management of subcontractors on site.Responsible for completion and issuing of daily/weekly project reports regarding progress updates on programme and subcontractors.Liaise with Client/Design Teams as necessary.The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:10 years relevant experience and a proven track record for delivering logistically challenging Civils projects.Full Irish Driving Licence.Safe Pass & Manual handling; other certifications beneficial.Additional Training such as SLG, LUGS, MSIC etc.Experience in Traffic & Pedestrian Management but not essential.Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel/Outlook.Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.Ability to coordinate a number of varied projects.For more information or to discuss in confidence, please contact Daniel Devery at CSR on 02892627488.
