What you'll be doingChalhoub Group is looking for an experienced Product Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, the candidate is required to ensure that the organization follows regulations related to manufacturing, packaging, maintaining quality, and selling the company's products.Job ResponsibilityReview new and existing products to ensure they meet quality and safety regulationsResearch safety and regulatory compliance concerns regarding new products or the expansion of existing ones, and communicate the findings to the production and management teamsPartake in quality risk assessments to aid in identifying compliance risksStay abreast of federal and state laws for Retail Industry and its products to ensure compliance and minimize production delays in case of any changes in regulationsMaintain uniform labeling, packaging, and classification of products to ensure safety complianceStay updated about ongoing product testing results to maintain records of product safety and qualityDevelop processes and suggest techniques to improve product complianceDevelop and maintain production process flow records and instructions to aid with the onboarding of new employeesAssist various departments by sharing information regarding product regulation and complianceWhat you'll need to succeedWorking knowledge of SQL for maintaining product compliance records, such as packaging and labeling requirements.Demonstrable knowledge of using statistical procedures to streamline record maintenance procedures, such as leveraging internal data to record instances of incorrect labelingProficiency in using data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BiStrong communications skills, both written and verbalWhat we can offer youWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
