Role : Shipping Market Researcher Key responsibilities: · Handling and updating research source data and analysis · Assisting with regular reporting and intelligence on shipping markets · Working with colleagues to identify important trends and factors Requirements · Ideal candidates will be educated to degree or equivalent level, ideally with either a maritime (e.g. shipping, shipbuilding, marine engineering, naval architecture), economics or statistics focus · Applicants require attention to detail, numerical skills, and an interest in working with data. Good spreadsheet and database skills are required, as are self-motivation and good organisational and communication skills. · Previous experience in a research or data role would be an advantage and previous experience in the shipping or energy industries would be helpful. · Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Salary: INR 9-10 lakh per annum, depending on experience.
