About the Role As a Product Development Manager, you will be part of a whip-smart team responsible for driving and developing innovative products to support growth and improve revenue metrics for the Groups Category handling outbound travel destinations. What will you be doing: Strategic Initiatives:
- Manage the entire product life cycle for your destination, from planning to execution.
- Build a holiday product portfolio roadmap for geographical regions or travel themes by understanding latent demand.
- Create holiday travel products based on consumer insights and needs, including various critical aspects like desired experiences, average spending capacity, food preferences, and travel preferences.
- Define the destination product vision and strategy, as well as identify source market opportunities.
- Own the destination revenue roadmap based on price benchmarking and cost optimization through supply advantages.
- Collaborate and manage interactions with cross-functional teams to drive the destination agenda with multiple functions, including Sales, Contracting, Marketing, and Finance.
- Evaluate market competition and position the product line to appeal to the relevant traveling cohort.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputed institute, along with 4 to 6 years of experience in handling group tours (OBT) or a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large projects from planning to execution with cross functional teams.
- Own the destination’s growth and performance.
- Skilled in collaborating with MIS team to develop performance management reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
