Purpose of the Job We are looking for sales professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in distribution sales, business development, technical sales in Specialty chemicals preferably Oil and Gas / Oilfield / Specialty Chemicals/ Refinery Chemicals to join our team of Changemakers. About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Execution of sales strategy within Indian sub-continent region and play key role to development of the SEA tactical market plans.
- Mange and expand the distribution network in India and SEA region.
- Business Development of key end segments – Pulp/Paper, Textile, Viscose, Mining, Lubes & Fuels, Oilfield & Water treatment.
- Foster and build business relationships with potential & existing customers, distributors, and all appropriate business channels.
- Enhancing customer experience.
- Value selling, Margin Management, Demand planning and managing sales via the business models.
- Coordinate internal interface between Customer Service, Technical Service and the regional/global Sales and Marketing Team.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and leveraging internal & external relationships at these accounts
- Ensures that all Sales & Marketing activities are in strict compliance with Nouryon ’s Business and Anti-Competition Principles.
- Leading the sales activities to protect, defend existing business and identify/commercialize new business opportunities via direct and indirect channels (distribution management).
- Managing the project pipeline and increasing the fill for the sustainability of the business.
- Value selling, margin management to optimize profitability in the end segments.
- Maintaining accurate demand forecast and pricing in the systems.
- Education - Minimum B. Tech in Chemical/Polymer Technology/ Engineering, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry.
- Sales and Marketing/Management post-graduation education is an advantage.
- Experience - 5 to 10 years’ experience of sales/ marketing/ business development /technical sales in specialty chemicals preferably Oil and Gas Sector/ Oilfields/ Refinery Chemicals.
- Experience in Production chemicals, refinery chemicals, Demulsifier, Water Clarifiers, Corrosion Inhibitor, scale inhibitors, scale removal, Flow assurance chemicals, drilling chemicals, CMC, PAC, Alkoxylation, Chelates, chemistry, application and operations knowledge.
- Oilfield operation/service experience.
- Experience in growth of the relevant end application/product portfolio/segment.
