Role Summary: The role holder will plan, manage, and execute the admissions process for fintech programmes for GIFT International Fintech Institute (GIFT IFI) from the point of inquiry through the enrolment of students at the institute. This includes guiding & implementing strategies for marketing and outreach for admissions, to increase awareness and build the GIFT IFI brand and strong relationships to enroll academically bright students, recent graduates, working professionals and entrepreneurs, from across India and other countries. About us: The GIFT International Fintech Institute, India's first international fintech institute, is an initiative of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat and funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and established by a consortium led by Ahmedabad University and comprising of Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and UC San Diego , in partnership with GIFTCL. GIFT IFI's vision is to create a world-class, practice-driven teaching, learning, and research environment centered on three pillars: industry-driven programmes, talent pool creation, and practice-based research. - To be responsible for all aspects of the GIFT IFI marketing & admission process with a view to maximise leads, visits, registrations and joiners while ensuring the retention levels remain strong.
- In coordination with the leadership team, plan, execute, spread awareness, run campaigns and drives (including but not limited to digital) and carry out marketing and business development pan India for the various offerings and ensuring the admissions to the courses at GIFT IFI.
- Plan, organise and execute the admissions & outreach strategy for GIFT IFI by partaking in different Education Fairs, Seminars & Conferences and marketing the offerings of the Institute to enroll students at GIFT IFI.
- Plan/Direct Campus Visits and visits to meet with companies/industry folks, organize Open Houses, Webinars, Workshops, and other outreach events for prospective students and plan/execute on and off-campus recruitment events.
- Interpret the Institute and its offerings to prospective students, primarily through one-on-one discussions and tours of various undergraduate/graduate Institutions, companies in fintech and allied areas.
- Conduct regular evaluations to measure success and for continuous improvement of services; prepare and maintain statistics regarding enrolment, geographical distribution of students, outreach efforts and attrition. Interpret these statistics, on a regular basis for presentation and reporting to senior management.
- Ability to make strategic marketing plans to promote different programs and successfully implement them.
- Oversees the content on the Admission section of the website as well as all printed materials that go out from the Institute. Assist the communications function in the development of promotional materials (newsletter, presentations, brochures, posters, website, social media announcements, application instructions, videos etc.) that interpret the Institute to prospective and admitted students, potential training partners & collaborators, educational institutions and corporates.
- Build a strong digital presence for marketing & admissions.
- Must have prior experience in admissions and marketing preferably in Fintech/ Edtech/BFSI
- Must have exceptional presentation/public speaking skills, make a strong, positive representation of the Institute and attract quality students.
- Requires strong interpersonal, motivation and influencing skills.
- Strong English communication and writing skills.
- Ability and willingness to work with a high degree of interaction involving the public and university faculty/administration.
- Self-Motivated and able to work independently and as a team member, fostering teamwork.
- Possess a professional demeanour & a friendly/congenial personality with organisational astuteness.
- Open to travel extensively and effectively work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Post Graduate in Business Administration/Finance or related field.
- At least 15-18 years of experience with 5-6 years of relevant experience.
