Our client is a leading manufacturer selling passive networking solutions, looking to hire a technical sales rep to be based in Jeddah or Riyadh. Purpose This role focuses on executing sales strategies to capture new business, working alongside Sales Managers to identify and build relationships with channel partners and potential customers. It involves developing a strong pipeline through direct or indirect contact, with an emphasis on passive networking products. The role also coordinates with Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors to meet company goals. Additionally, the individual acts as a technical contact, addressing pre and post-sales technical support issues. Responsibilities include recommending products, designing systems, sourcing product drawings, creating bills of materials, and contributing to new product development and sales training materials. Responsibilities

  1. Coordinates with Sales Manager to ensure maximum market penetration and accomplishment of short and long-range objectives.
  2. Identifying and establishing new business and opportunities.
  3. Providing technical pre-sales & technical support, product education and after sales & technical assistance to distributors, contractors and end users, including timely and accurate responses to all relevant stakeholders.
  4. Research and identify potential new customers.
  5. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer’s needs utilizing online tools.
  6. Liaising with other members of the sales team, technical support and customers.
  7. Maintains proficiency and expertise on current and new products; ability to demonstrate the solutions and products to customers.
  8. Support marketing activities by coordinating trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
  9. Supports Sales Manager in planning and preparing for customer presentations, samples, and demonstrations to increase sales revenue.
  10. Follows up with shipping and customer service as required to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  11. Follows up and qualifies leads from all sources and communicates status of lead development to SM and Marketing (via CRM tool).
  12. Assists SM in managing and reporting project pipeline activity in CRM tool, working with SM in following up project quotes.
  13. Full and participating partner with all internal departments in setting and ensuring execution of objectives consistent with the business plan to maximize value stream and enhance customer experience.
Desired Experience
  1. B.E./B.TECH. or equivalent in technical field; RCDD or DCDC certification is an advantage.
  2. Minimum of three years sales/technical sales experience.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  4. Strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio); knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, BIM, etc. is an advantage.
  5. Experienced in utilizing a strong background in analytical, organizational, planning, and scheduling to achieve target goals.
  6. Flexibility in managing multiple projects over extended periods of time.
  7. Highly motivated, self-starter who works well in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Willingness to travel as required.
  9. Analytical skills.
  10. Technical knowledge of the Voice/Data industry, LAN/WAN physical architecture, customer base, and distribution preferred; rack, cabinet cable management, power, and cable pathway product application knowledge highly desirable.
  11. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
