Site Manager/Builder - Residential

This is a residential and light commercial group that is both a developer and builder managing its own contracts and arranging their own subcontractors. They are currently working on building 700m² $3M - $4M lifestyle homes, plus there is some commercial warehousing in the pipeline. This is a contract role for 3 months with the intent to go permanent should both parties be comfortable with each other. Reporting to the Project Manager, your key accountabilities are:

• Site management of the entire project from planning through completion.
• Hands-on building when required.
• Monitoring of all processes in order to ensure the highest quality of work is produced, plus ensuring site staff are well mentored.
• Site management including subcontractor management, supplier management, and H&S.

• 5+ years experience in the multi-residential building industry in NZ with a carpentry trade background/LBP.
• Experience across high-end residential would be preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills as well as strong problem-solving ability.
• Strong understanding of all Council required compliance and documentation.
• Health and Safety experience.
