Responsibilities

• A. General 1. Assist in the department’s contribution to the formulation and implementation of FIMM Strategic Planning and Business Plan. 2. Maintain strong rapport with effective communication and regular engagements with all stakeholders on matters pertaining to FIMM and the industry. 3. Prepare regular reports for Superiors (wherever relevant). 4. Perform all duties and assignments as directed by the Superiors (wherever relevant).
• B. Specific 1. Assist in in-house survey and research to support industry initiatives and address industry issues, including developing questionnaires, collating responses, analyzing results, and preparing reports. 2. Assist in large-scale/nationwide surveys to facilitate strategic decision-making in the implementation of Industry/FIMM’s strategic plans. 3. Generate periodical statistical reports and ensure timely dissemination to authorized users, including management, FIMM members, and industry players. 4. Support various business functions with effective information from time to time. 5. Participate in developmental projects or new initiatives as assigned. 6. Assist superiors in administrative tasks such as organizing and preparing meeting agendas, supporting documents, information, presentations, and meeting summaries; and follow up closely on action items arising from meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Investment, Statistics, or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum two (2) years in financial or investment management, preferably in unit trust and insurance industries.
• Data Analytics: Experience and skillset in data mining and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent).
