For more information, visit DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Nursing graduate or postgraduate- Msc, BSc Nursing (Desired degree or Relevant experience in Infection control and /Antimicrobial Stewardship) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- ICN should be well aware with Infection control and /Antimicrobial Stewardship
- Support Functioning of IC Team in Hospital assigned to him/her.
- ICN shall be involved in basic training HCW for IPC activities.
- To implement the finalized infection control protocols
- ICN should be aware of all Hospital infection control activities.
- Should be able to formulate policies, protocols. HIC manual updates, review it with help of HIC team
- HIC Surveillance rounds, HIC audits, corrective actions.
- Training of ICN and coordination for daily activities, Outbreak management, isolation policies, OT assess and trouble shooting in HIC practices.
- Shall be able to understand and implement policies, protocols of IC and AMS
- Periodic IPC Surveillance rounds, audits and Prepare Reports.
- Training of Linked nurses
- Shall be responsible for assessments of Daily activities, IC Rounds of Critical and Non-critical areas.
- Train IC team for Outbreak management, isolation policies, OT assessment.
- Do Gap analysis with help of Tools, do RCA and CAPA for all the Gaps found in surveillance activities.
- Quality indicator analysis and monitoring- CAUTI, CLABSI, VAP and SSI
- Role in monitoring of AMR with help of tools
- Support Project teams in implementing hospital-based IPC and AMS baseline assessment
- Assist Project managers in evaluation of baseline assessment and reporting to hospital
- Work with Project teams on developing a facility specific action plan for implementation of IPC and AMS interventions Assists in drafting reports; generate reports and presentations
