Project Manager - Waterford - Residential

Our client is a leading developer specialising in high-quality residential projects across Ireland. With a reputation for excellence, innovation, and sustainability, they are now seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a residential development in Waterford. Role Overview: As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of the residential project. Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to; Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align objectives. Monitor project costs and ensure financial performance aligns with projections. Approve and track expenditures, identifying and addressing potential overruns. Lead and manage on-site teams to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to project goals. Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high-quality standards. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, including local authorities, suppliers, and the client. Provide regular updates on project progress and address concerns as needed. To be successful in your application you will possess the following; Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years experience in project management, preferably in residential developments. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards in Ireland. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
