Join Our Team as HSE Supervisor SCMC is seeking a dedicated HSE Supervisor to join our dynamic team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. As the HSE Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in accordance with legal regulations and ensure the factory complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards set by legal authorities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to address potential emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
- Conduct regular inspections of the factory premises, equipment, and machinery to ensure they meet safety standards and are in good working condition.
- Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste materials to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with waste management regulations.
- Coordinate HSE training programs for employees and management to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental activities, including incident reports, inspection records, and training documentation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance and implement initiatives to enhance overall safety culture and environmental sustainability.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with company HSE standards and goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our HSE programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven experience 2 to 5 Years as an HSE Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and their application in the workplace.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others in HSE initiatives.
