Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint a Head of Geography to start August 2025. The Geography department as part of the Humanities Faculty at Repton Dubai is staffed by a friendly and enthusiastic team of experienced teachers with excellent backgrounds of teaching in international and UK schools. Geography is taught as a specialist subject from year 7 all the way through IGCSE to IB and A Level. Repton has outstanding classroom facilities for teaching, with large well-equipped classrooms with the latest equipment, including interactive whiteboards and iPads. Students are encouraged to have an investigative approach to Geography and collaborative approaches are embedded into the curriculum for all year groups. Repton also provides excellent fieldwork opportunities in the UAE and beyond with the department facilitating an annual trip to Thailand for IB research. Repton is proud of the quality of its Geography provision and its excellent results which are regularly higher than world and regional averages at both IGCSE and IB. Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:- Bachelor’s degree plus QTS and PGCE
- For specialist teachers, the bachelor’s degree must be in a directly related field (e.g. History teacher should have an English related bachelor’s degree)
- The ability to teach through KS3-5 including IB and A Level is essential
- Leadership experience is preferred
