Youth Basketball Coach

We are looking for an energetic Full-time Youth Basketball Head Coach who has strong teaching practice & demonstrated ability and is passionate, self-motivated, and service-focused. The starting date will be from the beginning of FEBRUARY 2025. As a Basketball Coach, you will have to:

• Cultivate a Beyond Basketball program rooted in integrity, growth, learning, passion, and teamwork.
• Foster a program that inspires greatness through actions, words, behaviour, and accountability.
• Be responsible for the children until they are turned over to a parent or guardian before leaving the gym.
• Constant communication with parents and customers.
• Develop and build effective relationships with athletes and parents.
• Deliver presentations to athletes and parents.
• Officiate youth basketball games as well as coach, and participants to help improve their skills.
• Teach sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, and responsibility to one’s team.
• Monitor player’s personal conduct during the sessions.
• Demonstrate drills in the session with high energy.
• Assist with maintaining gym rules and regulations.
• Operate gym scoreboard, and keep the scorebook, as needed.
• Follow specific Beyond Basketball standard operating procedures.
• Promote and embrace character development and developmental assets in the curriculum.
• Provide proposal development advice, and when necessary, coordinate with consultants regarding basketball development.
• Consult with management bi-weekly with program updates.
• Weekly reporting and administration requirements.
• Prepare programs, plans, and leagues for the students.
• Report problems/concerns to supervisor.
• Serve as a positive role model for program participants.
• Build and maintain a high standard of member service for all program participants.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Candidates with FIBA license or higher certification (Preferred).
• At least 3 years of coaching youth basketball in UAE.
• Vehicle & Driving License (Required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, competent interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate using technology, develop reports, and track data.
• Must be in top physical condition.
• Be able to motivate student-athletes.
• Good leadership skills and attention to detail.
• Patient, creative and willing to help children improve their basketball techniques.
• Have the complete set of a training system for different age ranges, especially from U5-U16.

• Total compensation package: between 2700 - 3000 US Dollars or 10,000 - 11,000 AED monthly, depending on experience, including bonuses.
• Visa, airfare tickets, and insurance included in the package.
• Working hours: 4 hours per day– combined office and on the court, 6 days a week.
