Financial Strategy and Planning

• Formulate and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals. Ensure alignment of financial planning with business objectives and market opportunities. Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets. Conduct financial forecasting to predict future financial trends and performance.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors. Analyze financial performance and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

• Identify financial risks related to market fluctuations, credit, operations, and compliance. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure adequate insurance coverage for financial and operational risks. Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.

• Oversee the management of cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations. Optimize the use of company funds through effective cash management strategies. Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing. Develop strategies for raising capital and managing investments.

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory financial reports. Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure company compliance.

• Work closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and execute business strategies. Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making. Identify opportunities for financial growth and innovation within the company. Support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and new product development.

• Implement cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes. Ensure that financial operations are efficient, scalable, and compliant with standards.

• ACCA/ACA Qualified
• 10-15 years of experience and 8 years in a leadership role
• Experience in the agricultural, chemical, or Pharma industry is preferred.
