Staff Embedded Linux Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Port Linux on our custom hardware platform along with support of various interfaced chips.
2. Implement drivers where such are not available from online sources.
3. Ensure security of any code being used in the port (along with all custom modules).
4. Design, code and integrate software for new embedded Linux applications.
5. Improve and maintain the existing code base by incorporating new features and providing bug fixes.
6. Root-cause issues reported by QA teams and customer feedback.
7. Lead a team of embedded software developers and ensure all tasks are delivered on time, every time!

Requirements:

1. Have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer/Software Engineering with 4-5 years embedded Linux experience (MUST have).
2. Linux board porting experience. Setting up cross compilation toolchain and building bootloaders, Kernel images and root file system for target device.
3. Strong C/C++ & Python skills.
4. Experience with Yocto project & Buildroot.
5. Experience developing and debugging kernel drivers for embedded Linux.
6. Experience with ARM Cortex Application processors.
7. Experience with implementing device security concepts including secure boot, secure firmware update & trusted execution environment.
8. Experience using repository tools for code management.
