3A Composites Industry Europe is an international Business Area of the 3A Composites Group. They are the leading manufacturer, along with Athlone Extrusions Ltd in Athlone Ireland, the Polycasa Group and Perspex International Ltd. Darvin UK for plastic sheets, aluminium composite materials and lightweight foamboards for the fields of agricultural and commercial vehicles, caravans, sanitary ware, furniture construction, shipbuilding, rail vehicle construction industry. This variety means that 3AC Industry Europe can offer their customers a unique and perfectly coordinated range of products – and everything from a single source. We are looking for a result-oriented, analytical networker to further drive the prompt supply of innovative, top-quality products tailored to the customers’ needs for all European activities.
Your Role:
- Lead interesting R&D projects regarding existing products / new products and possibilities, processes
- Further develop R&D processes into a professional, efficient structure
- Collaborate with motivated colleagues across Europe to ensure market-driven, future-proof innovations
- Manage an ambitious R&D Team of three and R&D activities in 2 sites (Athlone and Pribram) and work together with peers European wide
Your profile:
- University degree in Chemistry or Materials Science
- Several years of experience in plastic technology, colour technology, or process engineering
- At least basic understanding of polymer technology, especially extrusion and coating of plastic products
- Experience in working in an international industrial environment
- Knowledge of continuous production and the development of specialised products
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a high level of initiative
