Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Fire Engineering Officer (Saudi National) to join the NEOM THE LINE project in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the Design Consultant's development of fire strategy, fire detection, and suppression systems.
Provide technical guidance to Design Consultants through regular review meetings and formal requests for information.
Act as the single point of contact for technical issues between the Design Consultant and the wider NEOM functions, sectors, and departments.
Lead design review of technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with THE LINE Codes, Standards & Guidelines, and Requirements.
Develop consistency in design solutions across THE LINE .
Identify key risks and document them in the Risk Register, ensuring follow-through with mitigation discussions.
Escalate all high-risk design issues to the relevant Subject Matter Expert.
Drive innovation and best practices in design delivery by appointed consultants.
Consider innovation, sustainability, and operations & maintenance in all design solutions.

Requirements:

Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of study or equivalent.
Chartered Membership of a recognized professional institution/organization or Professional Engineer status preferred.
Saudi Nationals: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience , with a substantial part in the required expertise discipline.
Significant discipline/international industry presence.
Comprehensive knowledge of Codes, Standards & Guidelines related to electrical distribution systems and energy storage.
Working knowledge of fire detection systems, communication systems, and other extra-low voltage distribution.
Deep knowledge of the sustainability industry.
Strong communication skills to articulate clear technical direction, with excellent social, networking, and presentation abilities.
