Software PLC Engineer- IRL

From E-Frontiers, we are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer with PLC experience to join a company specialized in the design and construction of custom machinery for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. About the project: You will join a dynamic team composed of 18 international professionals, including mechanical, electrical and software engineers, working on innovative projects in a collaborative and multicultural environment. Tasks

• Develop and implement automation solutions with Beckhoff PLCs or other platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing control systems.

• Demonstrable experience with Beckhoff PLCs (experience with other systems desirable).
• Intermediate level of English for technical communication.
• Availability to work on site in Waterford, Ireland.
• Ability to integrate into a multicultural team.

• Permanent contract directly with the client.
• Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 (with 6 and 12 month reviews).
• Accommodation provided for the first month to facilitate relocation.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 17:00.
• Friday: 8:00 - 13:00
• Office closed for summer (1 weekend in July/August) and Christmas period.
