Job Description: Network Support Engineer Location: Riyadh, KSA Job: Full-time (On-Site) Timeline: Immediate Expected Salary: 10-12K SAR/Month (depend on work experience) Network Infrastructure Management :

Configure, deploy and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance to ensure reliability and uptime for all critical systems.
Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and firmware upgrades for all network devices.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Respond promptly to incidents involving switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems to minimize downtime.
Use diagnostic tools to analyze network traffic and pinpoint issues.

Security Management :

Configure firewalls to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Implement and enforce security protocols, such as VPNs, IPS/IDS, and access control lists.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security breaches effectively.

Wireless Network Administration :

Design and manage wireless networks to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and performance.
Troubleshoot issues related to wireless connectivity and signal strength.
Implement secure wireless access using protocols like WPA2/WPA3.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Generate reports on network performance, outages, and security incidents for management review.

Collaboration & Training :

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems.
Provide training and support to staff on network-related tools and procedures.

Planning & Upgrades :

Evaluate new network technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance scalability and performance.
Plan and implement network expansions or migrations with minimal disruption.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise :

In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
Minimum 2 years of Hands-on experience with switches (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba), routers, firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), and wireless technologies (Wi-Fi 6, Cisco Meraki, Aruba).
Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ManageEngine, PRTG, Wireshark).

Problem-Solving Skills :

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex networking issues.

Certifications :

Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or similar.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Educational Background :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Job Environment:

On-call availability for emergency support and incident response.
Occasional after-hours work for maintenance and upgrades.
