Memac Ogilvy is seeking a talented and passionate Content Copywriter (Saudi National) to join our dynamic PR team in Riyadh. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful PR campaigns for leading brands across diverse industries. We are looking for a creative individual with a strong understanding of the Saudi media landscape and a flair for crafting compelling content that generates positive media coverage. Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and effective written materials for a variety of PR purposes, including press releases, media kits, pitch letters, speeches, presentations, bylined articles, social media content, and website copy.
- Collaborate with PR team members, account managers, and clients to understand campaign objectives and develop targeted content strategies.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and media outlets to inform content creation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.
- Tailor writing style and tone to suit different media outlets and target audiences.
- Ensure all copy is grammatically correct, factually accurate, and consistent with brand messaging and PR guidelines.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze results to inform future PR efforts.
- Brainstorm and develop creative ideas for PR campaigns and content initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PR and media trends.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PR writing, preferably within an agency setting.
- Proven ability to write compelling and persuasive copy in both Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of PR principles and media relations best practices.
- Exceptional news writing and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to prepare reports of varying scope and complexity.
- Strong understanding of agreement documentation and partnership building.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling and persuasive statements.
