I have a client looking for qualified Finance Consultants to join their Middle East operations. An opportunity to join our client in the Middle East as a Project Finance Consultant in the Capital Markets team. Client Details My client is uniquely positioned in the energy industry and is a significant producer of hydrocarbons, with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer. The responsibility of the company's position drives them to deliver societal and economic benefits to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries who rely on their services. Investment in technology and infrastructure is a key focus as the business strives to increase the energy produced for the world along with a commitment to enhancing their value to society. Description As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Preparation of business plans, financial forecasts, funding strategies, and delivery plans to support investment decisions.
  2. Coordinate the activities of investment banks, project advisors, project lenders, and other project consultants in arranging the financing for projects.
  3. Advise on security of project agreements and minimization of financing risk.
  4. Provide professional and technical expertise for the analysis and solution of complex problems in any Treasury project finance area.
  5. Lead multi-disciplinary project evaluations and development teams assigned to grow and enhance current operations and profitability.
  6. Develop junior staff.
  7. Stay up-to-date with and analyze international, regional, and local economic and banking data.
  8. Manage potential opportunities and alert management of potential risks.
Profile My client is keen to consider candidates who have developed their experience in the banking or energy industry with around seven years of experience in related project finance and corporate finance work. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business, and a preference would be if you held an MBA or other advanced business degree. Strong preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in Project & Structured Finance, Export Credit Agency Financing, Islamic Finance, the Debt Capital Markets, and the structuring of bankable commercial agreements. Exposure to joint venture development of mega-projects, EPC contracts, commercial & partnership negotiations, financial modeling, economic evaluations, cash flow & variance analysis, project engineering, and/or project management would be highly desirable.
