Business Process Optimisation Engineer

Direct message the job poster from Paracon Our client has an opportunity for a Business Optimisation Engineer to join the Technical Hub where Business, IT and Innovation comes together to fulfil a cross-functional role by engaging and facilitating effective communication flow between business units whilst acting as the intermediary between Business and IT & Innovation delivery teams in order to contribute towards innovative roadmaps. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Engage in problem analysis and resolution, continuous evaluation of current systems and processes.
2. Identify trends and contribute towards implementation of solutions.
3. Design control systems to minimise costs and production issues.
4. Implementation of project plans; follow lean project methodology to co-ordinate project activities.
5. Testing, Systems and Process Implementations.
6. Ensure that Change Management is incorporated in all solutions.
7. Training, mentoring and coaching of junior employees.
8. Contribute towards the creation of standards and frameworks to enhance standardisation of all output.

• Essential to have a B.Eng – Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Business Process Improvement
• Project Management Exposure
• Lean Six Sigma (Advantageous)
• Continuous Improvement including mathematical modelling, simulation modelling, business process optimization.
• Knowledge of emerging industry practices
