Direct message the job poster from Paracon Our client has an opportunity for a Business Optimisation Engineer to join the Technical Hub where Business, IT and Innovation comes together to fulfil a cross-functional role by engaging and facilitating effective communication flow between business units whilst acting as the intermediary between Business and IT & Innovation delivery teams in order to contribute towards innovative roadmaps. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in problem analysis and resolution, continuous evaluation of current systems and processes.
- Identify trends and contribute towards implementation of solutions.
- Design control systems to minimise costs and production issues.
- Implementation of project plans; follow lean project methodology to co-ordinate project activities.
- Testing, Systems and Process Implementations.
- Ensure that Change Management is incorporated in all solutions.
- Training, mentoring and coaching of junior employees.
- Contribute towards the creation of standards and frameworks to enhance standardisation of all output.
- Essential to have a B.Eng – Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Business Process Improvement
- Project Management Exposure
- Lean Six Sigma (Advantageous)
- Continuous Improvement including mathematical modelling, simulation modelling, business process optimization.
- Knowledge of emerging industry practices
