Power BI Developer

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Power BI architecture and expertise in designing and implementing ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes to optimize data flow and reporting. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that drive decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Design and implement scalable data models, utilizing Power BI’s architecture to ensure optimized performance.
• Work with ETL and ELT tools to streamline data extraction, loading, and transformation processes from various sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and create data models that fulfill reporting needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance, adhering to best practices in data architecture and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve existing Power BI solutions to enhance user experience and reporting capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong understanding of Power BI architecture and ELT processes.
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory) and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of advanced data integration and visualization techniques.
• Power BI certification is a plus.
