GM/Sr.GM- Sales, Marketing, and BD– API Division – Emerging Markets Key Responsibilities:

  1. The incumbent would be responsible for sale and business development for International business and will play a crucial role in driving API business growth and market penetration by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in Emerging markets.
  2. The incumbent primary focus will be on expanding client base, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and exploring strategic partnerships with the global key account management.
  3. He/ She has to establish connects with decision makers of top pharma companies and generate business by executing effective sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  4. Guide the sales team in day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of the business and in the monthly order forecasting for production planning.
  5. Drive sales activities to expand customer base and increase market coverage in untapped regions. Identify new markets and customers for existing and pipeline products, support sales teams for successful product launches, and ensure post-commercialization sales. Maintain and analyze monthly sales data to generate comprehensive sales reports.
  6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the API segment, focusing on the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing their needs Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Provide market insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making and identify potential areas for business growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in API sales, marketing, or business development, with a strong focus on Emerging markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
