Process Control Implementation Engineer

Needs to exercise a high degree of judgement, creativity and foresight. We seek an Implementation Engineer. · Execute advanced process control installations, both locally and internationally, in which interactions with clients and technical expertise are required at a professional level; · Main contact point on client projects for both project administration and technical aspects; · Provide clients with advanced training at a nationally-competitive level of technical expertise; · Contribute technically to marketing presentations. · Ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget; · Ensure that QES procedures are strictly adhered to and that project work is executed with maximum overall technical efficiency; · Actively participate in the training, guidance and motivation of junior staff. Participate in team debates and technical decisions; · Produce professional reports, papers and presentations at local and international conferences; · Keep up-to-date at a professional level with technology and business developments that are relevant to the division's interests Implementation Engineer: BSc. or BEng. Chemical or Electrical At least 2 years' experience in Minerals Processing and/or Process Control Must be willing to travel locally and internationally, and work with minimal supervision. The following skills/knowledge will be advantageous: Experience in advanced process control Computer programming (e.g. Matlab, C , C# or Python)
