Senior software engineer

Reporting to one of our Engineering Managers, this is a full-time hybrid role, based in our Melbourne office 3 days per week. Some of the things you'll do... You can shape products by discussing opportunities with colleagues and partners, ideating solutions, and contributing to technology choices across projects. Join teams (as a leader or contributor) in the delivery of products across the whole software development lifecycle from design to delivery, including QA. Contribute to Agile ceremonies whilst remaining agile in your approach to software product development practices and methodologies. Build our capability as a division by reviewing code and coding standards, mentoring Paper Cutters in and outside your team, and participating in recruitment interviews. A little about you... You are comfortable using multiple areas of our codebase, such as Go, React, Type Script, and GCP. You can set the pace in projects and oversee team-building product features to satisfactory completion and take ownership of the software outcome. You communicate project status, work well with diverse teams, and look for ways to achieve outcomes sooner. You mentor other Paper Cutters or enable the broader Paper Cut ecosystem by facilitating and driving education on important knowledge areas. Additional Information What else can you expect from us?
