Base pay range
Your new company My client is a prominent player in the food industry, based in Perak. They specialise in the production and sale of food products in the global market. With the re-structuration of food production flows and processes, they are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with extensive knowledge in automation machine design to join their dynamic team and contribute to the improvement of all processes.Your new role
- Conduct FAT to make sure the merchandise fulfils the specifications in a pre-assembly or assembly process.
- Translate the design into 2D & 3D comprehensive drawings to prepare RFQ.
- Re-use and refurbish legacy machinery through reverse engineering for 3D designs and modifications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing refurbishment contractors.
- Preparing the budget for all costs related to the process activities.
- Design and validation of equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- 3 to 5 years working experience in Automation Machine Design (Mechanical).
- Experienced in industrial processes; previous experience in food industries and hygienic design would be a plus point.
- Solid foundation in CAD software to translate design into 2D & 3D comprehensive drawings and familiar with metal sheet construction.
- Knowledge of automatism, data management and IT basis would be added advantages.
