The Role This role requires shaping our IT infrastructure for stability, scalability, and security as Deputy Team Lead - IT Administration. The successful candidate will assist the IT Admin Lead in managing the organization's IT infrastructure and serve as the primary point of contact in the IT Admin Lead's absence. Responsibilities- Co-create and manage IT infrastructure, optimizing performance, security, and reliability across on-premises and cloud-hosted systems.
- Implement security best practices and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop our technical roadmap, focusing on scalable IT infrastructure that drives business success.
- Team & Workflow Harmony
- Lead daily IT operations, prioritizing tasks and reporting progress to the IT Admin Lead.
- Provide guidance and support as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the IT Admin Lead's absence.
- Foster growth through technical training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Innovate with automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide expert support during peak periods, especially in Large Language Model (LLM) processes.
- Cross-Department Synergy
- Bridge departments to identify workflow optimization opportunities and operational excellence.
- Leverage containerization tools and cloud resources to deploy LLMs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Linux Administrator.
- At least 1 year of experience as team lead.
- Expertise in managing Linux-based systems.
- Advanced scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation and process optimization.
- Significant experience in hosting, systems administration, and troubleshooting Large Language Models (LLMs).
