The Role This role requires shaping our IT infrastructure for stability, scalability, and security as Deputy Team Lead - IT Administration. The successful candidate will assist the IT Admin Lead in managing the organization's IT infrastructure and serve as the primary point of contact in the IT Admin Lead's absence. Responsibilities
  1. Co-create and manage IT infrastructure, optimizing performance, security, and reliability across on-premises and cloud-hosted systems.
  2. Implement security best practices and resolve issues promptly.
  3. Develop our technical roadmap, focusing on scalable IT infrastructure that drives business success.
  4. Team & Workflow Harmony
    1. Lead daily IT operations, prioritizing tasks and reporting progress to the IT Admin Lead.
    2. Provide guidance and support as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the IT Admin Lead's absence.
    3. Foster growth through technical training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  5. Innovate with automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  6. Provide expert support during peak periods, especially in Large Language Model (LLM) processes.
  7. Cross-Department Synergy
    1. Bridge departments to identify workflow optimization opportunities and operational excellence.
    2. Leverage containerization tools and cloud resources to deploy LLMs.
Ideal Profile Experience Required
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as Linux Administrator.
  3. At least 1 year of experience as team lead.
Skills Required
  1. Expertise in managing Linux-based systems.
  2. Advanced scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation and process optimization.
  3. Significant experience in hosting, systems administration, and troubleshooting Large Language Models (LLMs).
  4. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  5. Experience working remotely.
