The Role: Reporting into our Chief Claims and Transformation Officer, the Head of Innovation role is a newly created and critical role within the newly set up Innovation business unit as we transition into an exciting phase of innovation and growth for MLC Life Insurance/Acenda. As Head of Innovation, you will spearhead the development and execution of forward-thinking strategies that will support innovation across the life insurance sector value chain. You will facilitate the identification of new business channel opportunities, support the development of innovative products and services, and optimize operational delivery to meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners. You will achieve success by defining and implementing a multi-year roadmap in line with our short-to-middle term strategy, collaborating with product development teams and fostering a culture of innovation. About You: An experienced and passionate Innovator with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a highly regulated sector focused on innovation, product development, strategy, and/or digital transformation. You possess strong thought leadership in the innovation space with a human-centered design thinking approach and experience in agile and design-thinking methodologies. You can demonstrate a track record of success in ideating, creating new opportunities, and bringing them to market to unlock new revenue streams and deliver tangible results and value to the organization.
