Key Account Manager / Distributor Manager (Incentive role)

Salary: RM4000 - RM4600 Location: No 8A Jalan 13/6 46200 PJ (Flexi to travel outstation over MY) Working day & hour: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm. Flexi: 9.30 - 6.30pm Contract duration: 12 months under PERSOLKELLY (renewable) Duties:
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
- Retain overall responsible for growth achieved with Distributor-partners, including achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Responsible for setting and delivery of key performance indicators: turnover, profit, product portfolio, channel expansion, etc.
- Execute and agree sales plans with Distributor-partners to deliver budgeted volume, profit and ROI; resourceful and employ innovative sales and marketing solutions to deliver value, gross margin and volume targets. Manage trade terms, agreements, price increases and promotional plans - develop commercial solutions to issues.
- Develop and execute promotional plan for Distributor-partners in collaboration with Head of Sales, Channel Marketing and Digital Marketing. Work with Head of Sales and Channel Marketing to determine ROI of key activity and use commercial and/or competitive insights to influence future plans.
- Analyze product portfolio and build sustainable distribution, sales and profitability of existing, and new lines with Distributor-partners; translate product or presentations into pitches to accounts to successfully introduce new products and programs or gain incremental distribution.
- Provide data driven, accurate or timely inputs to demand planning to enable S&OP process and accurate forecasts…and to deliver premium level of customer service and sales support.
STRATEGIC BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
- Develop, nurture, and grow relationships with key accounts, in depth understanding and anticipate Distributor-partner’s existing and future needs and communicate within the team and own organization, explore commercial opportunities.
- Develop compelling solutions to Distributor-partner’s and/or their customers’ issues.
- Understand customer needs, product usage, and provide solutions to enhance customer engagement and loyalty, deliver insights to Distributor-partner’s business that will help them deliver competitive advantage.
- Develop joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to all partners within responsibility.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build and manage internal/external relationships involving all stakeholders and influential bodies.
- Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and support for customers.
- Manage contact matrix ensuring that all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriately.
- Build trust in all stakeholders and influence Solution Partners (SLC), Channel Marketing (SMS), Regional Product Specialists (rPS), Supply Chain (LOP), Logistics (LOG), and Technical Services (TSS)
COLLABORATION & LEADERSHIP
- Build and lead cross functional teams that are able to anticipate and deliver solutions to meet Distributors and their customers’ requirements.
- Communicate strategy and direction effectively across the team; internal and Distributor organizations.
- Mentor, coach and support Business Development Specialists…and as a senior member of the sales team, use your skills and experience to mentor and coach less experienced associates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to devise strategies for increasing sales, identifying new market segment, and expanding market share.
- Min 5 years outdoor sales experience, not necessarily limited to this industry, but added advantage if within same industry
- Experience using SAP
- Qualification is diploma and above
