Role Overview: As a Sales Consultant for the AD Design Show (ADDS) 2025, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales to a curated list of exhibitors for our marquee event in Mumbai (November 2025) and a subsequent satellite show in Hyderabad. This position is ideal for a dynamic, passionate professional with a deep understanding of the luxury home and design categories and a proven track record in high-touch sales environments. Key Responsibilities: Sales Execution: • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to engage, onboard, and secure exhibitors for ADDS 2025. • Build and manage relationships with a curated list of exhibitors, ensuring alignment with the event’s premium positioning. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the luxury home, design, and art categories. Relationship Management: • Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met. • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with luxury brands, designers, and artisans in the home decor, furniture, and art industries. Market Knowledge: • Stay updated on trends in luxury design, architecture, and home decor to advise clients and enhance exhibitor alignment. • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and positioning of ADDS as a premier event. Collaboration: • Work closely with the event planning, marketing, and editorial teams to align exhibitor experiences with ADDS 2025’s overarching vision. • Provide regular updates and insights on exhibitor onboarding to internal stakeholders. Revenue Achievement: • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining the integrity of the brand and event positioning. • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance exhibitor value, upselling additional services or sponsorships. Selection Criteria: Experience & Knowledge: • Strong background in sales, ideally within the luxury home, design, art, or lifestyle sectors. • A well-established network within the luxury design community is highly preferred. Skills & Attributes: • Articulate Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with high-profile clients. • Pleasant Personality: A polished and professional demeanor, with the ability to build rapport quickly. • Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess client needs and propose tailored solutions aligned with ADDS’s premium brand. • Drive and Passion: Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales and the luxury design space, with a proactive, results-driven mindset. • Negotiation Skills: Adept at closing deals, handling objections, and delivering win-win solutions. • Attention to Detail: Ensures all client interactions and deliverables are of the highest quality. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A background in design or luxury management is a plus. Other Attributes: • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Resilience under pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines. • Willingness to travel frequently across the Northern region and other locations as required.
