Business Development Manager - GCC Region
Are you ambitious, driven, and passionate about driving an organization forward? We at Seneca Polytechnic have ambitious goals and to help us achieve them we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the GCC region. You will be responsible for driving Seneca Polytechnic’s global expansion efforts in the Middle East, identifying new market opportunities and establishing strong partnerships across international markets. This role requires an in-depth understanding of international business dynamics and is accountable for navigating diverse cultural landscapes. This is a 1-year contract role. Job responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive international market entry and expand the student recruitment outreach strategies and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure strategies are integrated with overall institution goals.
- Assess potential new markets, evaluate revenue-driven business opportunities and develop strategies for targeting potential clients.
- Manage and monitor budget spend associated with territory.
- Lead the business development activities in conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and growth opportunities in international markets.
- Establish and enforce standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up, and opportunity qualification.
- Provide leadership in analyzing cultural factors, local business practices and regulatory environments that impact successful market entry and growth.
- Oversee the development of compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches for international clients, students or partners and ensure that the proposal resonates with the target markets and track business development activities and report on results to management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with international clients, students, partners, and key stakeholders and serve as a primary point of contact to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the international business development team and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture while promoting professional growth.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development or relevant area.
- Experience in the Higher Education space.
- Bilingual (Arabic and English).
- Market awareness and understanding of the challenges of customers and competitors.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Results Driven - is able to develop partners to expand the business in the region.
- Strong organization & self-management skills to convert strategic objectives and plans into measurable results.
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and originate programs and ideas.
