Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team at Quba Builders Australia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, reviewing, and negotiating variations to contracts, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and legal standards. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex contracts effectively to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: A Contract Administrator at Quba Builders Australia will be responsible for:
- Oversee contract modifications and variations, ensuring compliance with project goals and company policies.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to contracts, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for all contracts, variations, and related documentation.
- Assist in negotiating terms with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet company objectives.
- Regularly review and renew contracts to maintain integrity and ensure up-to-date terms.
- Assess potential contract risks and provide guidance to the Director on effective mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide clear explanations of contract terms to stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and company policies.
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to minimize risks and maximize contract value.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims for completed work, ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with Sub contractors, site engineers, and clients to provide contractual details.
- Review and process variation claims, time extension requests, and progress claims.
- Maintain up-to-date correspondence and document registers to track progress and ensure timely responses.
- Assist in creating cost plans, budgets, cash flow projections, and profit/loss forecasts.
- Associate degree or advance diploma
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Flexibility in work schedules, ability to work across different time zones, and no travel restrictions.
