The Opportunity

We're seeking a Manager/Senior Manager Cyber Security – Strategy & Transformation based in Karachi, Pakistan. This role plays a crucial part in executing strategic initiatives under Cybersecurity (CS) Priorities. Key responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing and developing cyber security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
2. Experience in working with SBP/SECP/National policies for cybersecurity and technology.
3. Reviewing and recommending cyber security strategy and action plans in alignment with business strategy.
4. Developing a cyber security governance program presenting overall security status to different layers in business.
5. Assessing and implementing infrastructure and application security primarily for banks and government sectors.
6. Implementing and auditing ISO27001:2013/2022.
7. Executing IT General Control assessments.
8. Responding to cyber security incidents and establishing security response frameworks.
9. Reviewing IT and Cybersecurity DR plans.
10. Experience in security information and event management infrastructure covering all areas.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. A Master's or bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field from an accredited university.
2. Proven experience implementing IT Security Controls including baseline standards like CIS.
3. A sound understanding of privacy frameworks like GDPR, PDPL etc.
4. A sound understanding of compliance with SOC type I and type II audits.
5. A sound understanding of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, 27005, 27701, SP800 etc.
6. Experience in assessing and establishing security architecture for applications, cloud servers, SaaS etc.
7. 8-10 years of experience managing both on-premises and cloud-based platforms.
8. Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CCSP, CISA.
