Internal Sales Representative

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Answering Telephones – Queries and orders
2. Telephonic Customer support
3. Counter Sales/Service – sales and queries
4. Finance: Payments from clients, invoicing (Kerridge), credit notes
5. Quotation to clients and follow up on quotations
6. Telesales – existing customer bi-weekly follow-up and new clients, identifying and pursuing opportunities in the market, promoting the Company’s products to clients
7. Assist Sales reps with Test Certificates
8. General Admin Function
9. Cash Sales and daily breakdown of cash sales – Till cash up
10. Confirming payments and assisting debtors with cash accounts and debtors accounts
11. Purchasing – Stock products and consumables
12. Purchase orders
13. Inter branch transfers
14. Assisting debtors with accounts and queries
15. Following up on back orders for customers

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Tertiary Qualification: Will be advantageous
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years
3. Skilled in coordinating, telesales, admin
4. Trustworthy
5. Candidate must be very organized and able to prioritize tasks
6. Ability to perform duties with deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
7. Candidate must be friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients, co-workers and the general public
8. Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information
