IM/Technical Writer

Job description We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our Arts team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing skills. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and comprehensive user instruction manuals for a wide range of brands and products. Key Responsibilities:

1. Write clear, concise, and comprehensive user instruction manuals.
2. Explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
3. Tailor instruction manuals to the target audience's knowledge level and language proficiency.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
5. Create or work with visual assets to aid understanding.
6. Participate in user testing to ensure user-friendliness.
7. Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
8. Revise and update manuals as needed due to product changes or improvements.
9. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

1. 2-3 years of experience as a technical writer.
2. Excellent technical writing skills.
3. Understanding of audience needs and preferences.
4. Deep product knowledge.
5. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
6. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal.
8. Advanced communication skills.
9. Experience in technical writing, preferably in user instruction manuals.
10. Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and technical drawing is advantageous.
11. Strong time management skills.
