We are hiring "Design Engineer - Geotechnical Background" JOB DUTIES:

  1. Geotechnical investigations and site assessments to gather data for design purposes.
  2. Design deep foundations (piles) and earth retention systems (shoring) for various types of structures.
  3. Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations to determine soil bearing capacity, settlement, and lateral earth pressures.
  4. Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate geotechnical design into overall project plans.
Other Requirements: Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering principles, and earth retention systems. Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited and reputable institution is required. Technical Skills: The candidate should have a good understanding of engineering principles and practical applications of structural design, geotechnical engineering, construction materials, and project management. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with other engineering software, is preferred. Job Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
