A leading trading firm within the commodities space is looking to expand their Traffic team by adding a Precious Metals Traffic Operator! If you are looking for a company that will allow you to have a fantastic work-life balance while still supporting your growth and development, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities:
- Liaising with forwarders and shipping agents for freight/chartering of vessels, barges, trucks, and railcars.
- Full contract administration; regular contact with customers ensuring timely delivery of the goods, issuing invoices, and payment orders.
- Issuing instructions to surveyors for materials inspection, survey, and tallying.
- Handling of commercial claims jointly with responsible traders.
- Demurrage/Dispatch calculations.
- 5-10 years experience (or more) in a Traffic position (Precious Metals).
