Urban Planning Engineer - Must be Dubai Municipality Certified

- Independently manage projects largely involving master planning/urban design work, and provide assistance to senior team members in managing large projects.
- Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/or review drawings, construction documentation, and detailing.
- Provide project or task management to develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images.
- Prepare bids and proposals as part of marketing efforts to current clientele and to identify and attract new clientele.
- Provide project leadership, direction, and business development in planning and urban design, together with project and client management.
- Use knowledge of New Urbanism principles, as they can be flexibly applied to existing operating facilities, and planning theory as it relates to the redevelopment of commercial/retail development to research recent, similar planning, and architectural projects to provide up-to-date ideas to Management.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in architecture, urban design, planning, or a similar discipline.
- Excellent design, drawing, and report writing skills in Urban Design and Master Planning.
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as a master planner/urban designer working on a variety of projects involving multiple disciplines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite software packages is a must.
- Must hold a certificate of Urban Planning Engineering Services from Dubai Municipality
