Learn more about Nissan’s future here: We are currently looking for a Parts Quality Assurance/Engineering Assistant Manager to join our team in Nissan Motor Egypt . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing new projects quality activities after sourcing until start of production and during mass production phase to ensure delivering vehicle parts achieving quality, cost and time targets consistently. This role requires excellent leadership skills, ability to supervise a variety of cross-functional / cross-cultural team members, proven Quality Management System Evaluation and Audit skills, competency in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making. A Day in the Life: Manage vehicle Parts Quality Assurance (PQA) and Parts Quality Engineering (PQE) team to guarantee smooth day-to-day work by heading Daily Team Meeting, Weekly Digest Meeting. Set annual/mid-term targets to ensure department alignment with company objectives and implements action plans through utilizing current resources of PQA/PQE. Ensure Quality standard maintenance & assurance across various production lines in the shop floor in terms of Parts Quality to reflect on market claims reduction and customer satisfaction improvement. Perform Cross-functional team management to track & report quality related occurrence within the plant to enhance part quality, reduce concern investigation time and to support implementation of robust countermeasures. Validate PSWs (Part Submission Warrants) provided by suppliers in every new part localization or after changes to guarantee supplier liability to parts quality requirements. Validate Design/Process Change Requests and special acceptance applications requested by suppliers to ensure supplier compliance with quality requirements. Assess and improve part quality by using data analysis to continually improve our production processes, working alongside the Local & overseas suppliers and plant manufacturing operations. Manage and support PQA resources in development of countermeasures for 3-MIS warranty claims related to imported parts with our overseas suppliers & R&D network to ensure immediate, temporary and prevention actions taken within standard lead time. Review monthly reports (SSC, MQM, 3 MIS top issues (including those related to imported parts), ….) to monitor and control suppliers’ Quality performance on monthly basis. Who We’re Looking for: Bachelor of Science in Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree Knowledge of Production Control Plan (PCP), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gauge Repeatability/ Reproducibility (Gauge R&R) Good knowledge standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, IATF-16949 +7 years in automotive quality assurance Fluency in Arabic and English Proficiency in MS Office Time & team management skills Excellent communication & Presentation skills Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Explore more here: Fuel your career with innovation and purpose by joining Nissan, a company dedicated to enriching other’s lives.
