Job Title: Model-Actress Reports To: Talent Manager, Casting Director, or Agency Job Overview: The model-actress is responsible for representing brands, products, or characters by appearing in print, digital, and television advertisements, fashion shows, movies, theater productions, or other forms of media. They must possess strong physical presence, camera awareness, and the ability to embody a variety of roles or personas. Flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration are key traits for success in this dual-role profession. Key Responsibilities: Modeling Duties 1. Runway Modeling: Showcase designer clothing and accessories during live fashion shows or events. 2. Print & Digital Advertising: Pose for photo shoots, catalogs, magazines, and online media campaigns. 3. Commercial Modeling: Represent brands for advertisements, product packaging, or retail displays. 4. Fit Modeling: Collaborate with designers to model clothing for adjustments and sizing. 5. Maintain Appearance: Adhere to health, fitness, and grooming routines to meet industry standards. Acting Duties 1. Portrayal of Characters: Act in films, TV shows, commercials, or theater productions by delivering lines and performing actions as scripted. 2. Auditions: Attend auditions or screen tests to secure acting or modeling roles. 3. Character Research: Study scripts, analyze characters, and rehearse performances. 4. Collaborative Work: Work closely with directors, producers, photographers, and other creative professionals. 5. Voice Acting: Perform voiceovers for animated characters or advertisements if required. Skills & Qualifications: Strong physical presence and photogenic qualities. Exceptional communication and emotional expression skills. Ability to take direction and adapt to creative visions. Knowledge of posing techniques, camera angles, and lighting effects. Acting skills such as improvisation, timing, and the ability to memorize scripts. Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability on set. Experience with fitness and beauty standards specific to industry demands. Requirements: Portfolio with headshots, acting reels, or prior work examples. Professional training in acting or modeling (optional but advantageous). Open availability for travel, auditions, and assignments. Willingness to adapt to different roles and industries. Work Environment: Photo studios, film sets, runways, or outdoor locations. May involve irregular hours, extensive travel, and long workdays.
