Our client, having recently been awarded and successfully launched the national lottery in the UAE, is now seeking to appoint a Deputy Lottery Director. This role will provide crucial support to the current Lottery Director. In this position, you would have oversight into the entire business with wide-ranging responsibilities. - Assist in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of lottery operations in the UAE.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align lottery offerings with our broader sports betting and casino gaming initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, technology integration, and customer engagement strategies.
- Analyse market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain brand integrity.
- Serve as a trusted deputy to the Lottery Director, stepping in as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Proven experience in lottery, with a track record of leadership success.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment for gaming and lotteries, preferably in emerging or highly regulated markets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational efficiency and revenue optimization.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
