Vehicle Quality Control Specialist

Job Purpose: The role involves overseeing and managing the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure vehicles and processes meet quality standards and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to implement quality assurance protocols. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify, prevent, and resolve quality issues. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee automotive inspections during receiving, PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), and post-repair processes.
- Identify, assess, and report damages, accidents, or missing parts to relevant departments (Management, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Logistics, and Vehicle Procurement).
- Ensure accurate documentation, including incident and QC reports, and update systems (NS, SharePoint, etc.).
- Implement and enhance inspection checklists and ensure consistent cross-checking of vehicle specifications.
- Maintain high standards during fleet vehicle inspections, modifications, and repairs.
- Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to address issues and maintain quality control standards.
- Coordinate random and monthly inspections for showroom and fleet vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles meet internal and external quality standards before delivery.
- Monitor and document all quality-related activities, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
- Strong automotive knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Data analysis capabilities to generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QA tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes.
