Job Advert Description The role Based in Abu Dhabi, the new recruit will advise clients on a diverse range of local company commercial matters within the UAE, including Free Zones, and help review commercial contracts. What you will be doing

1. Deletion of assistance on complex DD.
2. Advising on a wide range of company secretarial matters.
3. Advising on the incorporation of entities within the UAE.
4. Assisting on drafting commercial agreements.
5. Assisting on drafting and amending memorandum and articles of association.
6. Advising on employment law.
7. Assisting on preparation and delivery of data privacy advice.

The new recruit will also be responsible for:

1. Building, maintaining, and developing client relationships.
2. Pro-active participation in marketing initiatives.
3. Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.
4. Assisting with training and development of junior legal staff.

What you will need The firm has a Career Development Framework which sets out the competencies we expect of those at this grade. In particular for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

1. Directly relevant paralegal experience gained at a recognised and busy corporate practice from an international law firm.
2. Experience gained within the Middle East would be an advantage but not essential.
3. Law degree/ law conversion and LPC/SQE holder.
4. Commitment to exceeding client expectations.
5. Drive and enthusiasm.
6. Can-do, hardworking, and flexible approach.
7. Commercial awareness.
8. Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills.
9. Ability to interact well with people at all levels.
10. An interest and substantive experience in data privacy advice is an advantage but not a requirement.
11. Proficiency in English.
12. Excellent academic record.
