About our clientWe are working with a prestigious global investor who is looking for a Principal focused on consumer investments to join its growing private equity team. This position will look at deals globally with a focus on European, Asian and North American markets. The role presents an opportunity to work with a world-class investment team on high-impact transactions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.What the job involvesLead and execute private equity transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and deal negotiations.Develop and maintain deep sector expertise in the consumer industry to identify emerging trends and opportunities.Oversee the evaluation and screening of investment opportunities, providing actionable insights to the team.Support the team in initiating and developing relationships with target companies, advisors, and other stakeholders.Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high standards of performance and collaboration.Present investment recommendations and updates to senior leadership and the investment committee.Who we are looking forProven experience in a top-tier private equity fund within the consumer sector or a generalist team with consumer exposure.Strong track record of initiating, executing, and closing deals in highly competitive markets.Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.Academic credentials from a top-tier university; MBA or CFA qualification is a plus.International experience, particularly in European markets, is highly desirable.Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and work in a high-performing, global team.
