Dutco Dubai, UAE Posted 3 days ago Expires in 2 months Ref: JB1100012145Job Summary:The Procurement Lead (Civil) is responsible for overseeing the procurement process for civil construction projects, ensuring that materials and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner. They will work closely with project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met within budgetary constraints.Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil construction projectsSource and evaluate potential vendors and suppliersNegotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials/servicesCoordinate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelinesMonitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may ariseMaintain accurate records of procurement activities and contractsStay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurementCandidate Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fieldProven experience in procurement for civil construction projectsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsStrong understanding of sourcing and contracting principlesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlinesFamiliarity with procurement software and toolsCertification in procurement or supply chain management is a plusSkillsSkills:Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the civil construction industryExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationshipsProficiency in contract management and vendor selectionExperience in budget management and cost analysisAttention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholdersFamiliarity with relevant legal regulations and compliance standards in procurement operationsCompany Industry: Construction/Civil EngineeringJob Role: Construction and Building Career Level: Director/Head Experience: 15 - 20 Years of ExperienceLocation: Dubai, UAE
