Interior Engineer

Project Management

• Oversee the execution of interior works for the new school building.
• Ensure project completion within the stipulated time frame and budget.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, MEP contractors, civil contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Interior ExecutionExecute interior finishing works in alignment with design plans.
• Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, material quality estimation, and manpower mobilization.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams, including QA/QC, MEP, PMV, PMC, architects, purchase, and safety.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of subcontractor bills.
• Maintain proper documentation of all interior project files.

• Experience in interior works execution is required in the following areas:

• Flooring installations: rubber, vinyl, carpet, wood, granite, marble, and vitrified tiles.
• Ceilings: baffle, acoustic, metal, wood veneer, decorative gypsum, and acoustic spray.
• Doors and partitions: modular door fixing, DGU windows, and DGU internal partitions.
• Railings: glass and MS hand railing.
• Toilet cubicles: HPL toilet cubicle installation.
• Wall finishes: wall cladding and POP punning.
• Dado cladding.

• Implement and execute interior design plans provided by architects, ensuring alignment with the vision and requirements of an international school environment.
• Select and procure appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
• Quality ControlMonitor the quality of interior work to ensure compliance with design and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address design-related issues promptly.

• Ensure all interior design activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Adhere to local building codes and regulations.

• Manage the budget for interior design aspects of the project.
• Track expenses and identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with the construction team, school management, and design consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive records of design plans, modifications, and project progress.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
