Position overview: Job Title - Manager, Software Engineer Experience - 10 to 13 Yrs Location - Bangalore Work Mode - Hybrid Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our development teams in creating innovative software solutions for the insurance technology sector. This role requires deep expertise in .NET full-stack development, combined with proven leadership skills, to drive product excellence, manage project execution, and ensure high standards of coding quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development Teams: Oversee commercial software and integration projects, aligning project objectives with business goals and ensuring successful execution.
- Uphold Coding Standards: Implement clean code principles to maintain high coding standards across all projects, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Mentorship and Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and career development guidance to team members, nurturing professional growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and meet project objectives, ensuring that deliverables exceed expectations.
- Performance Management: Manage team performance, including resource planning and project delivery within established cost, quality, and time parameters.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Minimum of 10 years in .NET full stack technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, React , SQL Server) with a strong background in cloud solutions (Azure/AWS), microservices architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading multiple distributed teams, demonstrating strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Agile Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and modern development processes is essential.
- Local Market Insight: Candidates based in Bangalore are preferred, as familiarity with regional market dynamics is beneficial.
